As coach and potential client, we meet to explore the potential focus of coaching, and then agree a way of working together – this is the exploration session.
After this, a course of coaching usually involves four to six sessions of one to two hours in length, covering a period of six to nine months, as discussed and agreed between coach and client. The coaching ends with an exit session.
I would really recommend time with Siobhan for anyone needing to work through time of change and planning for the future.
Coaching sessions with her were extremely helpful in a period of change and in making decisions about my future.
They gave me the tools to reflect and make a plan of dealing with difficult situations and in moving forward beyond these.
In life, things aren’t always easy; sometimes you need a push or a helping hand.
To find a person who can provide both, expertly, is really rare.
Luckily, I had the pleasure of being coached by one such person, Siobhan.
Siobhan's support has been invaluable to me over the past six months.
She has helped me to disentangle and deal with various emotional and practical issues associated with redundancy, seeking work and preparing to move back into work.
Having had Siobhan's help, I feel more confident about the choices I have made during my search for a new role and happier about my decisions.
Siobhan worked with me to provide coaching during significant personal and organisational change.
Her coaching support was invaluable to me and to my organisation. She helped me distinguish the wood from the trees and supported me to independently identify actions, outcomes and impact from what sometimes felt like impossibly complex challenges.
Her ability to empathise and rationalise was centred on a remarkable intuition about me and my need.
Siobhan has many practical ways of making you focus on your goals and working out where you are, and where you'd like to be.
She always treated me with great kindness and respect and aspects of her coaching have stayed with me after a few years and continue to inform my thinking about myself and about work.
I'm sure anyone would benefit from working with her, wherever you feel you are in your professional life.
Siobhan's supportive and professional approach to coaching has allowed me to pause and reflect on my leadership style, enabling me to be more courageous and confident as a leader.
Our sessions are now an invaluable ingredient in my development as a professional in the social sector.
I am hugely grateful to Siobhan for coaching me during a time of professional and personal change in my life.
She took the time to get to know what motivates me and helped me take pride in my own abilities and strengths.
Siobhan was also able to offer the benefit of her extensive experience and connections within the local area.
I would recommend Siobhan to anyone looking for a coach, she is outstanding.

I was hugely impressed by the way she was able to “get” what I was struggling with and help me take action to deal with it.
She is able to awaken ideas and actions that got me to recognise what I might already know or face up to what I was avoiding.
She helped me discover talent and abilities I’d lost and recognise the difference I could make. It was an invaluable experience.
I was not sure what to expect but the support I received, both professionally and personally, was an invaluable aspect of my graduate scheme.
Siobhan took a real interest in me, and what made me tick, and helped me to reflect on what I wanted to achieve professionally and how I was going to achieve it.
She provided me with more than just guidance but built up my confidence and belief that I was capable of aiming high and achieving more.
